Yea, company is having revenue issues, I got laid of beginning of August. You think a porn chain store would never run into revenue issues, but I guess the internet is finally starting to affect it.

on a personal note i find shemale to be mostly derogatory. it is a term used by the pron industry and suggests we are all 'chicks with dicks'

i prefer to use the 'umbrella' term transgender

in many ways i think that perhaps WE should drop the 'trans' whatever so we see ourselves as a gender. a term society has not defined. i.e. male, female, and us. i proudly describe myself as transgendered two spirit to anyone i meet. that is who i am and very proudly so. as our society evolves and comes to grasp with gender issues perhaps we will have a new word. id like to see all forms that have male female on them also have a box for 'T'. i would use it everywhere. i have taken msn and a few other places to task on this. "T" could also stand for third sex.

i am going to try to find some info i have on what is 'now' considered to be transgender. it seems to also be inclusive of cd/ts/tv/tg etc.

being very new to this community perhaps in my newness i see things differently.

the two spirit in me wants her breast to grow to balance body and spirit.

Paula you want the complete change and wish to live your life fully female, i also understand this.

Lisa, i am not sure where and how far you want to go with you transition.

We all change in our own time to become the person inside. i do know of someone that found out they were really female and once they new that and accepted it they were content. no physical changes being done what so ever.

some of us know instantly what is wrong re:body and inside,, for those of us in the grey area things get more confusing and difficult. how does one who is two spirited dress? androgenous? for those of us, pardon the expression, with the balls to say this is who i am deal with it we can move forward. many are not so lucky.

the definition of 'transgender' seems to have more to do 'rights' rather than any labelling. a cd as defined in the Ontario Human Rights Commision also has the right to go to work fully dresses and should not be faces with harrassement and so.

i will try to find that article and post it.
