Those pics were awesome. We have the same appreciation I think for Isabelle. That's also very cool how those pics of Isabelle's are just released. As always you've got the eye out on things. Awesome.

I really dig Sunshine's picture you've posted up too. That shot of hers is sooooo sexy. I hope she enjoys how we both like and appreciate that look of hers she has.

That last shot is Karolina? Really? Ok well I'll take your word for it....LOL . Its rather hard to know without seeing her face but hey I respect your choice in pictures so its all good.


To all those out there I'm sure you all know by now that wellhungone is like the second eye to this project and is looking for stuff that may have gone unnoticed.

This was a long time coming. Now to avoid any confusion the 2009 calendar listed Lola as Miss March but I didn't officially start this calendar project until April 2009. What I did last year was choose ladies who I felt flt best to represent the missing months to make the year complete... but now in 2010 it's official.

Lola is quite the social butterfly. Always up for a talk with anyone. Loves to hug and greet people she meets. We've met at the clubs on a few occasions and each time its been great. We strike up a conversation about what her new plans are , where she's been and just day to day life. No beating around the bush, no embellishing of her stories but rather just good down to earth conversation. Oh yeah, she's flirty too. You know...a wee pinch here and there.

Now Lola does stick up for herself which is a great quality. Some may say feisty which is a great trait and others may disagree but to me I can truly appreciate a person who not only reacts to a situation but acts upon it as well if need be. She practices what she preaches with little fear. What better way to truly live life can there be. Fabulous.

By the way. If you look closely you will see 2 "new" photos of Lola on the 2nd set. These photos of her in the chair and her in the fishnet suit have never been released until now. Thank you Lola.

Her "REDUX" will be posted in a few days.

Movie- The Karate Kid Do yourself a favor. See this if you insist on seeing the remake. This film stands the test of time as it is still accepted and adored by generations from the past and now. I have seen small bits of the remake which to me were so drawn out and boring and those bits I saw reflected nothing to that of the original. The one thing that drives me crazy about the new film is that Jackie Chan is really teaching kung fu.... kung fu is NOT karate. If perhaps they called the flick The Kung Fu Kid and said it was an hommage to the classic then I wouldn't be so irate. The remake is far from anything that is spectacular but in todays film market I guess its somewhat ok to those who have no knowledge or pay ignorance to its predecessor. The 1984 version (and superior one) tells the tale of a new kid who has moved across the country and cant seem to fit in. After a short while the new kid in town falls in love but also falls into trouble with bullies who consistently beat him up ....BADLY with their militant brand of karate. Enter an old man who takes the kid under his wing to teach him not only the ways of self defence but of life.

Why do I care so much? Well it's not that I really "care" per se but rather I've come to the breaking point with Hollywood. They're going to continue too put out stuff like this just for a quick buck and do away with all creative notions. I mean just look at the list from over the years. 90% of the titles you see here lack any true cinematic staying power.

I urge you if you watch the 1984 release of the Karate Kid you should also watch Karate Kid Part 2....but avoid Karate Kid 3 and The Next Karate Kid with Hillary Swank.

CD: Janelle Monae - Archandroid She can sing and scream and her creative levels are off the chart on what I consider to be 2010's best album release thus far. The crossovers from r and b to synth pop to instrumental suites are so rhythmically flawless it's almost as if Monae was saying that what you hear is all the same when clearly it is not. There is truly something in this release for everyone. Even the die hard music purists agree that rarely something that is geared to all generations is enjoyed by the majority and this is a testament to that statement. I HIGHLY APPROVE OF THIS RELEASE

CD - The Cardigans: First Band on the Moon (Sweden) Yeah yeah yeah. I could've chose ABBA to represent Sweden but figured go with something that maybe not all generations know. This band hit it big in the later part of the 1990's with their hit "Lovefool" Trust me you have heard that song before. Anyways, this album on the surface presents what may sound at first to be giddy and happy songs with the melodies and tempos but damn its not that way at all. Listening to the lyrics in comparison to the instrumentation you think..... huh? That isn't happy music at all. Imagine if you will dancing to something with a cool beat and then upon listening to the song you hear about some horrid tragedy. Kinda like this album. This band is still around but has not had the success after releasing this album but they are critically acclaimed for song writing and lead singer Nina Persson is respected greatly in Europe and has collaborated with other artists in the US and Canada.

DVD - Mad Max (Australia - 1979) In the tradition of those old westerns of the 1960's Mel Gibson plays a renegade cop in a post apocalyptic future bent on revenge and showing no remorse for those who would do him or others harm. Though the film shows its age it still has some of the best road stunts to be captured on film. Add to this that there was virtually no budget in creating this flick and yet made millions world wide just tells you that great story telling doesn't meed a bunch of special effects or clever narration.

Seriously. Here's a give away to pique your interest. There's a scene where a man must literally cut his arm off to escape certain death from a vehicular accident. It looks more real than what any CGI could do youd almost think he was actually cutting the arm off.


Hey everyone. Spain wins the World Cup. Yippee. Not the most thrilling of matches. Didn't really like it to begin with as I have grown not to admire Spains approach to the game. They keep the ball as long as they can and try and find a hole to shoot at. Boring stuff. Ah well. Its over now.

I still have to write about the girls from last week.Hope to do that before it's too late. Also, I've created 3 new social groups. An all sports social group, al allmovie group and a group devoted to Toronto's own Lucy.

So. This "international" idea is something I've been debating on doing for a while, more specifically , devoting a week with a certain theme. Perhaps if this garners interest I may do like....oh...I dont know....a video game theme or an outland nature theme or something like that , we'll see. That's all I got. In all honesty I've been feeling so tired from this heat wave and it appears there is no stopping of it soon. Welcome to summer I guess.

I heard on the radio that K'naan's song is not actually the official FIFA song of World Cup 2010. That title goes to the song sung by Shakira. "Wavin' Flag" by K'naan is the official Coke'a'Cola FIFA World Cup song. Coke being one of the primary sponsors for the tournament. Stupid commercialism, but worth it. K'naan's song is a beauty and deserves world wide play any way it can...Hmmm Shakira, wouldn't that be awesome if she were a tranny. Oh but i digress. Just dreamin I guess.

Movie - Psycho (1960) It's been 50 years and this movie still entertains and frightens people when viewing it for the first time. Alfred Hitchcock's legacy is best defined with this movie. I mean, basically , its a "thrasher" movie as some would say in todays market but looking back on it if it wasn't for this film you wouldn't have some of the stuff you see now. A major character dies early on in the movie, cold faced expressions on the characters, gratuitous violence which for the time was unheard of and the music is just so unnerving. Oh yeah, I've seen my fair share of films but I don't just restrict just to modern stuff. If you like horror or thrills I'd ask you try and sit through this and not jump out of your chair. Yes, it's black and white which to some may be a turn off but if youre the kind to disregard a movie because of something like THAT then you're really limiting yourself from great entertainment and are closed minded.

CD - Duke Ellington: Uptown Again just like with film I've made it my mission to learn as much as I can about music. Yes I know of the greats and listen to stuff like Etta James, Miles Davis, Tennessee Williams, Lena Horne.etc So who is Duke Ellington? Duke Ellington was the most important composer in the history of jazz as well as being a bandleader who held his large group together continuously for almost 50 years. He wrote stuff to highlight the talent for some of his band members, wrote songs and instrumentals for movies and revolutionized the sound of the drum solo. For those wondering, this is jazz but it's not cool jazz or symphonic jazz or contrived scat jazz this is jazz in its purest form, unrehearsed, unorchestrated (somewhat) and demonstrates there is no limitation in playing any instrument. This is a great introduction if youre curious about jazz at all.



Hey everyone. After much thought I think I'm going to stop giving an opinion on the ladies pictures, at least for now. Quite honestly it is the most difficult task to do on a weekly basis as when it comes to the pictures some girls update their portfolio regularly and some dont so the consistency to say that this is the best or that was the best gets lost in the shuffle.

I have another video in the works . its not the Charlies Angels thing that id hoped. That idea wouldn't have worked anyways as I would need live footage of the girls to get the idea across however this new idea i think you'll enjoy. It'll only be about 30 to 40 seconds long but its going to take work and lots of time. It's a 'parody of those NHL Hockey Playoff "History will be made" shorts they televised. You'll see it soon enough. As for Beya and Lola I still want to do the videos for them but again, time is my worst enemy....there is never enough.

Some may ask why recommend a retro cd and dvd this week? Well, I love variety and to enlighten as also make everyone welcome. Most of my recommendations have been from the past 30 years but I know there are those on this site who enjoyed things prior to the "disco" era so to speak. Just thought it would be a welcome change as also show this is not a one dimensional thread that talks of the here and now and disregards the past.
I can't sit here and type that I know very much about the golden era of film and music but I can say that through self motivation I've kept my mind open and have learned at least of the important moments in each categories history.

Weather has cooled down finally but another heat wave is projected to hit my region soon. Thank goodness of central air. One of lifes guilty pleasures.
