Here's some good, obscure stuff from the mid 70's. A band called Paris led by Bob Welch (formerly of Fleetwood Mac). They only did two records. The first album has a Zeppelin-like sound to a lot of it. The song I like the most sounds the least like Zeppelin LOL:

This thread needs some Thin Lizzy, one of my favourite bands. Mostly known for The Boys Are Back In Town, they were criminally underrated. This is one of their softer songs, Little Girl In Bloom. I dig the solo in this song:

As far back as i can remember, Thin Lizzy never wrote another song that had so many fantastic hooks as The Boys Are Back, except for Jailbreak, maybe.
