Spark: E zine Woman of the Week
Allow me to present this years "3rd Woman of the Week"
Allison
Let us all welcome Allison back from a long hiatus. We will all get the honor of being subject to such a caring individual and truly is a gentle person. Very polite very modest and ever so stunning. A person who is actively involved in a cause and always keeps things "real".

"Heirloom"
The woman of the week has been pretty scarce this year. Primarily it is because of me trying to incorporate new ideas into this e zine thingy that I haven't focused as much attention as i should. Still, with just over 2 months until the year ends in all likelihood we could see a few more.
Props to: TrannyGoddess, Crag Rockheart, wellhungone, tsmaldita, Shyla Wild, ditadior and jenllani.
Thank you for your contributions, comments, birthday wishes, recipes, coupons, attention, time, patience, memories etc etc....... lol.....seriously. I always thank everyone who take the time to post a comment here.
Cheers.

Another proposed idea
Always thinking always contemplating.....
it seems that all the ideas thus far have been greatly accepted except for Ice Breakers. Sadly Ice Breakers is a let down. I really thought guys would want to be involved with that. The girls were keen .... the men , with a few exceptions, not at all. Oh well. That's why we do what we do. Learn by trying and see what works. As of now Ice breakers is on "hold" and I'm going to try something else, the motivational poster. It is what you're thinking. I'm sure many of you know what a motivational poster is.
On the first attempt of this new idea I'm just going to take a photo of a girl. More specifically someone in the ranks like Kimber James or what not. The one thing about this idea is I'm going to try and write something cute and/or funny. Also, I will not create a poster of a girl unless they volunteer and or say that I can use one of their photos.
It's been a while since I've put my writing abilities to the test - a very long time. In the days to come we'll see how this pans out.Last edited by Rantsalot; 10-22-2011, 08:11 PM.

Song of the week: bis - Making People Normal. Big on the independent college radio circuit for a while they had nominal financial success when some of their songs were featured on compilations way back when. I guess its an acuired taste. Not everyone like the near shouting vocals of the female lead singer let alone the unharmonizing vocals of the male members, still, they were part of a wave over a decade ago where they helped to tell people "something" was happening. The angry pop as it were was in and they became an underground sensation. Like all sensations though there time was up and they faded away but not without leaving a mark where they got their fame on the indie radio scene. The message of the song is quite blunt. More appropriate now as ever.
Movie: Reservoir Dogs Do you think anyone would've accepted the role as say Mr. Polka Dot? Probably not. Strangely enough people were shocked when i said I saw this after I saw Pulp Fiction. Tarantino was like "the" man too work for then. Me I just didn't care about the guy just as long as the film was decent. Sure enough its a quality movie with a basic story line - a heist with many sub stories involved. oh yeah , do not forget about the violence, thats the "cool part" of the film. as we see how each color titled character reacts to it. Not often do i recommend movies as a must see but this is surely a "must see" and if you have so already "must see " it again.

As always I thank all of you.
Food for thought: Don't fall for a woman who has had sex with one of your music heroes. No matter how emotionally evolved you think you are, you will never enjoy listening to KISS again.
Don't lurk around web sites where people comment about your work unless you're drunk.
Don't forget that you are the product of a culture that went stark raving mad about ten thousand years ago. Adjust your thinking accordingly.
Don't answer TV critics questions about the state of TV comedy. It's a trap.
Don't eat anything bigger than your head. True in the sixties, true today.
Don't ever stick a fork in the toaster. Intuition is right on this one.
Don't ever believe that tomorrow can not come soon enough as tomorrow never truly arrives for when the day comes it's then called 'today".
Don't ever take these food food thought blurbs to heart. Nobody really reads them anyways.
