Heres some evidence: Look at the title of this thread:

Ladies: don't you think discrimination should be banned?

As most of us know it is banned under the Canadian Charter of Rights. And under the US Bill of Rights (I beleive)

If Babe truly knew what discrimination was she would know this. Odd because she has probably faced discrimination often in her life as a TG.

Also, I might add, just because something is banned doesn't mean it doesn't happen, But you got to have proof to back up your claims.
I agree with you completely, however you have to give up at some point, she is going to think what she is going to think, I guess.

I said my piece and that is all I will say on the matter.
I am not against Babe I just don't agree with ALL the things she has said here.

If she is tired of you then she should just not reply to you,
however I think that is not possible.

Anyway I find her defintions of discrimination so broad that it intersects with individual likes and dislikes (opinions).
Using so many examples at once it is not apparent what the point actually is.

However if she wants to talk about her beliefs, it doesn't hurt me.

    • Part 1 of 2 of my response to Crag.

      Hi Crag,

I'm very surprised by your post. You accuse me of things that i don't do and of saying things i never said.
And i am going to, respectfully, prove it to you in this response.

      I'll start here, first.

In the first Greek and Roman Theatres there were no women actors. The men played all the roles.
The first stagings of most of Shakespeares plays were done by only men actors in all roles. Look it up.

Here, i looked it up and found this.

This one too is great. Black men in dresses. "What am i, Milton Berle?"

I can believe you about all male actors. I just watched M. Butterfly and it was the same thing.

I am not sure why men were appointed for that but it happened in Chinese Opera, as well.

Could also be why men and woman can't touch while dancing in some cultures, along with so many ancient traditions and taboos that have existed for years.

Taboos, though, seem to be where problems start in a society. Now, you wish to bring up actors up from ancient times. They were all men and they were portraying themselves as women, too. Fantastic! They were all men. WE ARE on the same page lol. Just to let you know. Cool.

Now, let's ask a few questions in regards to only those actors who portrayed women characters.

So, in this first part of my post, “actor” which was always in those times, “ also males acting as a woman” and will mean “female impersonator”, is that okay?

These are questions by the way,and i would like them to be answered, please, for the sake of the thread's integrity. Seeing as this supposed to be a discussion and not a sermon.

      Were these actors...

Paid money in those times to act in those plays?

Were they celebrities of some sort?

      Respected in mainstream society?

      Treated like outcasts?

      Ridiculed in public?

Beaten senseless in the bathe houses?

Refused service or beaten in the markets?

Murdered just for using a washroom?

      Murdered for being different
      ?
      Denied employment?

      Denied medical care?

      Stoned to death?

Well, maybe stoned to death in some Islamic countries, i am not sure.

But we are not there, are we? We don't follow that “stoning of people” way, here, in Canadian or maybe even in all of North American cultures, i'm not sure, though.

With all of that said, TGs today, face all of that discrimination that i've just listed above, and we have seen Lexi's very violent video showing just how far discrimination has come, in that McDonald's beating.

Did that ever happen in ancient times, too? You seem to have done the research of that era.

If i want people to understand what i am saying, i try to show proof.

Can you? I would love to see it because i have made my mind up, and it seems like someone is going to have to show me the way if they are trying to make me understand something different.

I can be taught but they had better prove to me so i can say, ”Oh okay, i understand where i am going overboard on this subject.”
And if people can show me things like that, i will say that.

But i doubt they can because i think i'm right lol. Sorry! lol

My eyes are blue and i don't care how many times people tell me they're green, they are still blue lol. You would be asking me to lie to myself.

      Next point.

Maybe it was. Maybe men and women engaging in visual and physical contact was a taboo thing back then. We are not discussing discrimination against women, by the way.
Can we agree that the M→F transgenders back then, in those times, would have gladly hung up their actors' caps and retired from acting and gladly go sit in the crowd with all the OTHER women, if it meant they would have been treated and accepted as women?

In some periods of Europe, men wore tights and petticoats and wigs and make up and high heeled shoes, and all of THAT was okay. Totally acceptable. What ever HAPPENED

Not pre-meditating, no. Hollywood just did and still does it, is pretty much what i said and meant. YOU guys are trying to maybe talk about a conspiracy in this matter. That being said, if Hollywood DOESN'T want it, it simply won't appear in movies or on tv, now would it? Ever see a child being raped in a movie, lately? I doubt it. It's not allowed.

It doesn't matter if discrimination is a premeditated Hollywood thing or not.
What matters is THEY DO IT. They control all of that. They own it. It's a committee and we are NOT on it. We just pay to see the goop they show us.
And they are MOVING into youtube, i think, with all of these dumb ads we see now. We're going to be paying for that soon, when the ads "don't make money anymore" (they say).

But TG discrimination is 'being allowed' to take place and it's really hard to stop because it's still one of the prevailing groups being attacked. Try to deny that TGs are not subjected to lots of BS in life?

As for the clips i showed, i've, also, showed the Flip Wilson clips, and i even enter into the post with all the links to movies that, " I don't think they are all bad." I show the link later in the post.

I like the Flip Wilson clips. They are okay and in good taste because no one is talking behind Geraldine's back, saying to the audience that she's ugly, like in the Flintstone's, “Ladies' Day” clip did to Fred. Go check.

The Tasty Pastry clip was, from what i can see from that short clip, was two men being frauds, which is a BIG ACCUSATION used often against most TGs in public.

Look at the McDonald's beating. It says she was beaten for trying to use the wrong washroom.
The cameraman even pointed at the pulled-out hair and said laughing, “It's a guy!”

And i am to believe that members, here, are bitching about this thread which exposes discrimination?
Don't look at it! Go look at the video section, or go look at the sex pics.
No one has to read this thread. They CHOOSE to read this thread.

      Back to your quote.

In the Flip Wilson clip featuring George Carlin, George did his scripted discrimination bit, and Geraldine quickly retorted, to make him, “Howard No-Sell“, (a parody of Howard Cosell) look like he never has anything of substance to say, anyway. That was great line! lol. BRAVO to that. That's where Geraldine was great. She may have allowed some discrimination but she wrote great come back lines which made the audience laugh at the person being discriminatory against her. She would turn it right around.

We don't see discriminated TGs on television or in movies defending themselves like that – they just seem to take it. Even in the McDonald's beating video, the TG just sat there and took it. What's going on!!??

In all the other clips, the CD / TG / TS was always brought down or directly or indirectly insulted, made to look stupid, portrayed to be some kind of murderer like in Silence of the Lambs, Psycho as many other like, Dressed To Kill, the list goes on.

In the Happy Days clip, when the Fonz pointed at the door to Ritchie, Ritchie walked away feeling stupid.

When Ritchie looked at Posty on the dance floor, he waved back as if to make fun of him just like Potsy did to Ritchie.

Why do i have to explain all of this to you guys? It's all there.

Ask yourselves, 'WHAT are they laughing at?” And then ask, 'Why are they laughing at what they're laughing at?'

Also, there are some films that help the community - i never said that whenever a TG is on the screen that it's automatically discriminatory
like you've accused me of doing.

I am just saying that since the motion picture industry began, we have many works that contain TG discriminatory material (movies, cartoons) and they get translated into many languages and then spread out all around the planet.
When i showed a portion of a list of movies i had found on the net showing the titles of movies involving TGs, i even typed, i don't think they are all bad. There's the link. There's the proof. Go check.

      http://tgirlforums.com/yabbse/showth...110#post306110
There are so many other movies, i'm sure thousands of them.
      They're not all bad.

But what i am talking about is how they are not all good, and they do show discrimination. They are mass distributed. They influence people's opinions.

Even in many ancient countries, pederasty existed, and it became that boys would dress as girls and belly dance for a roomful of men, and later perform sex for money. They believed women were for reproduction and boys were for sex.

Money was typically never allowed to be paid, but the older man would educate and take care of his boy. This all existed, and it was ALL accepted. It's become illegal to have boys dance now so you will see men doing in it.

      Go check.

      http://gatesofvienna.blogspot.com/20...pederasty.html
They even crossed-dressed the boys as you can see here. No discrimination here. These traditions go back as far as 500 years.
      What's happened? What's changed?

Okay, first the Milton Berle bit. Then, the Python stuff.

The Lucy and Desi Comedy Hour

First of all, here's the lame story line.

Milton Berle, playing himself, is a famous radio show man who's writing a book. Because he is bombarded with so many things to do at his office, he can't find any time to finish his book in the show.

Lucy gets him to stay at her house without telling her highly-strung, extremely jealous, Latino husband, Ricky, about it.

Ricky, we already know, is dying to ask Berle if his band can perform on the Milton Berle radio show but hasn't been able to get an appointment with Berle.

I'm sure if Lucy had told Ricky that Berle would be using a room in the house to finish his book, Ricky would have been honored, not jealous as she said Ricky would be. IT'S MILTON BERLE, for Peanut Butter's sake - Ricky's been trying to talk to that guy for days or weeks and can't get to Berle.

But noooo, they need a gag to make it funny. Lucy gets a phone call saying Ricky is on his way home early. So, when Ricky comes home early, Lucy convinces her friend and Berle that Ricky won't care who it is because he will just pounce on Berle out of jealously.

      • Post 2 of 2 of my response to Crag.

Now, before Ricky got home, when Berle was upstairs getting dressed as a women, Lucy could have told Ricky that Milton Berle was in the house and why.
Her friend and Berle both asked Lucy several times in the scene, “Your husband will hit Milton Berle. IT'S MILTON BERLE!!,” but Lucy said, “Yes! Yes! Milton has to hide. Ricky is crazy jealous and won't listen”.
That wasn't true. Ricky is not stupid. If Lucy would have mentioned it, he would have been pretty honored.

So, down the stairs comes Berle, he is not TG, he's a man PRETENDING to be a woman just like in the days of Olde, i suppose. And that's okay for men to pretend they are women. They've been doing that since ancient times, just like you just pointed out the history books show.

However, Berle enters like a drag queen, walking down the stairs on his ankles in womens' shoes, acting really OVER-the-top. The audience is laughing like crazy, of course because he looks and acts so stupid.

“Can you imagine A MAN trying to walk in womens' shoes?!”, the audience roars. The people at home to laugh along, too.
The audience and people at home all know Berle is really a man only dressed up like a woman. He makes it look stupid you have to laugh.

Berle draws even more laughter when he tries to talk.
“HA HA HA so funny. Look at THE MAN trying to sound like a woman.”, the audience and people at home roar in laughter.

Then, Berle flirts with the two husbands who are so shocked at the ugliness of this person, who they think is a “woman', but like the gentlemen they are, they remain polite, and again the audience busts out laughing.
Lucy and her friend, too, are laughing, and trying to hold it in, and that alone, makes it even funnier.
The audience sees that and laughs:
“Look at Milton Berle, A MAN, trick and make a fool out of Ricky and Fred, with his female impersonation. Ha ha ha, look at the dumb looks on the two mens' faces. Ha ha ha so funny.”

Then, when Berle starts to think he has the men fooled and tries to engage in a conversation, Lucy, knowing that Berle can't get away with it for much longer, rushes Berle to the door. At which point, Berle, again, is tripping on his shoes.
        Again, a tsunami of laughter.
“Look, it's a MAN and he still can't walk in womens' shoes. LOOK! They're showing it again, mom, dad!! Come look! Come look! Ha ha ha! So funny, eh? When men wear womens' shoes, that's how it looks, ha ha ha!”

Then he is seen trying to leave the apartment. We were told how Ricky won't believe that Lucy had the one and only Milton Berle in the house to finish his book.
And When Ricky is finally told it's just a man (NOT BERLE) in drag, Ricky punches the man (Berle). The audience laughed.
In the recent McDonald's beating clip of April 18, 2010, some were laughing.

When he's told it's Berle, the super duper jealous Latino man suddenly is able to feel remorse.
Come on! What a lame story line just to dress up a man to laugh at him pretending to be a woman.
Ricky not the type to listen to reason?
Ricky was always made to appear like a bomb ready to go off at any minute but he was never really all that crazy. Oh yes, and a Cuban bomb to be exact - how convenient.

If i am wrong, then maybe you can tell me what the audience was laughing at and why?
        I must have missed it.

That's just to analyze these type of clips. We also have the Buffalo Bill types to consider.
Then we have the victims like Ritchie and Potsy who just want to join the gang, as well
        .
Then the McDonald's beating, of course.
Then we see the Flintstones' clips.
Bugs Bunny and others exist of Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd and all the rest of the "gang" we grew up with, and guess what?...they're all discrimination against TGs by portraying the TG as something to be killed in most cases. Why?... well, because the TG "tricks" them, or fools them and puts the pie in the face, makes them feel stupid. It's comedy, right?

Well, it all makes the TG look like something nobody wants around. Like the practical joker of that gang. I remember liking the TG characters but many times thought that were like mean-girl friends. Practical jokers but the joke was always on you type of scenario. That or they were picked on.

'Yea, but it's fun when the TG come into the cartoon, then it gets funny.'

I used to love seeing Bugs dressed up in drag, that was a real highlight because there were not all that many of them made. But, you know what?...Bugs was causing trouble, deceiving people. Tricking people. It just clicked. SUCH POWER that tv has! And this's just the comedy part of it.

Now for the Monty Python clip.

We see a guy wanting to be a lumberjack. He sings a verse and the rugged men all repeat in chorus.
The song progresses and the man discloses more and more info about himself through the lyrics about how he want to press wild flowers as she skips and jumps. The group of men get confused a little but carry on.
The more he expresses how he likes to wear a bra and panties just like his dear old mama, the group of men appear disgusted, they refuse to repeat in chorus what the guy sang, and they all get up and leave. That is discrimination.
The girl beside the guy is crying now, all disappointed because she thought he was all “rough around the edges”.
That is discrimination for her to run away from him the way she did. The guy was left standing all alone. He deserved that from the boys and the girl? Why? It's funny.
The guy “came out” and was clearly discriminated against. Just because they put a laugh track there, doesn't make it funny when you look at it clearly for what it really is.
Sure, people laughed at that clip for years. Heck, even i did – i thought that was funny until something clicked inside of me and i went searching for evidence. Sorry if I found some that i wanted to share.

I think i've made a ground breaking discovery, and i think this thread is a lot more important than the guys' negative opinions, the same guys who go and rate it down with the rate function just because i don't agree with them. I don't care what they think.
Bring it right down to a no stars rating.

People used to say the world was flat and that the Sun revolved around the Earth.

I don't get that part, at all. Maybe you can explain it better?

The videos i have showed herein this thread are not from all facets of society.

I am certain there are MANY other acts of TG discrimination happening in so many other areas.

(Some young t-girl was just strangled, there, in a lane way). Did you feel it?
Why does it happen? Who started the hatred. Tell me. I need to know.

What's boring is when people can't answer questions and they just keep on going on with their opinions, and ignoring my questions.
THAT gets boring, i agree, and i keep asking the same questions.
VERY boring, guys. What a way to discuss.

And i'm not sure what you mean by “books”. The posts have a lot of space to write in.

Even your post has accusations that simply are not true.

Look at me, i don't swear in my posts. I don't cause trouble. I am respectful of others even when they spit at me and call me names. Then, you'll swear at me! Somebody needs a spanking!

With just over 2800 views in less than two weeks, it seems it's not that boring and people do want to see it.

Buddy, there, thinks he makes this thread "Happen...! Man! Scoobity doo wow wah, man. I'm hype! I'm hype!".
        Buddy, there, wishes.
If you remember, i had actually asked him nicely, twice, to stop posting.
What did he do? He resorted to calling me names and taunting me openly by encouraging hate, by asking girls to ban this thread.
Now, i write a long response to the site owner who now quotes the guy, and is agreeing with him.

I just hope this doesn't turn into a bash fest because i'm trying to expose where i think discrimination is being spread from, and to try to bring awareness to what i think is the problem and to try to stop discrimination at the bud.
While, buddy over there, beckons people to have this thread banned.

Again, i ask, why would, buddy, try to have this thread banned?
Why is it so important to defend the Flintstones instead of t-girls, anyway?

I respond to what people say. Just look at this response.

Because i can't agree with people, only means that those people 'still don't get' what i am trying to say. It doesn't make what i am saying wrong.

They can go create their own thread and rant there.

Maybe people simply watch too much tv. My Gawd. It's incredible.
Trying to make people understand how i think discrimination is spread by television is like trying to tell people to eat healthier or to stop smoking.
It touches something close to their habits.

I know some people, personally, who, when you visit them, they sit in the living room and just keep on watching television like you're not even there.
And NO, they don't do that ONLY to me - they do it to everyone. The tv has their brain.
I was not brought up like that. I was brought up to immediately turn off the television or radio and entertain my guests.
Nowadays, people are like hypnotized zombies sitting by the tv, and they can't even see it happening. You've got only a few moments to try talk to them during the commercials, unless they're laughing at them as entertainment as they eat from the very same bag of potato chips that are being advertised. Wait your turn until the ads are done with.

When you try to tell people something different from what the mob thinks, they become annoyed, as if you're trying to take a cigarette from their fingers.

What i am “throwing out” here, is not bad.

        It is very confusing.
I've posted a link in the “Boy with toe nail polish” thread because it's touches upon discrimination. So, i linked it to this thread of mine.

Lexi posted the McDonald's beating video in a separate thread. I copied the link and posted it into this thread and and i copied the link to my thread and put it in that thread because it's a topic of discrimination.
Easy to see why i do that, i think.

I don't want to go into Lexi's or anyone elses' threads and be accused of high-jacking it with the long posts on the topics here from my thread or whatever.
I have to say, not every post i make is long.
Just when i want to say something.

If the topic of discussion in another thread is related to what i am talking about, i may comment and put a link there or may copy their link and put it into my thread. Not a big deal, is it? I don't think that is a big deal.

        And i am still polite.
I hope you are happy how i addressed every point from your post. I wish others would do the same for me and at least answer questions instead of going on and on.

          • The Drew Carey Show discriminated against TGs.

            Hi,

Here is a clip from the Drew Carey show.
In this short clip from the Drew Carry show, there are many jabs at the TG community. It all takes place in a 3 minute and 30 second video spot.

And people wonder why T-girls get beaten in a McDonald's.
This ongoing crap should be banned. THIS crap is what is fueling the hatred. So many examples in this short clip.

            Babe,
            xoxo

            The Story Line:
The guys walk into the local bar and it's Ladies' Night, and it's full of CD/TGs and women.
Then one of them says hello to a sexy bodied TG, but when he sees the face, he says, "Ewwwww."
The audience laughs while Drew looks troubled by it and walks away.

When they get to their table, one of them asks, "Hey, Drew. You notice something?"
Drew says, "Yea, they're all guys."
And the friend exclaims in disbelief, "What!?"
Drew says, "How the heck did this happen?"
The other friend answers Drew's question, "You know?...you're home, sick, today. Your mom has to go to work. You wonder what her panty-hose feel like."
            Drew looks at him disapprovingly.
The friend says, "I don't know. Why don't you ask one of these freaks".
(Meaning, ask the CDs in the bar why they wear women's clothes.)

Drew's cross-dressing brother and another TG come over to Drew's table and the friend proudly says, "Yea, we're like wallpaper that's almost too much - but not quite."
(That's a Hollywood writer writing that crap. That line shows even a TG actually knocking the TG community. As if to say, 'Even we can see that we don't look very much like women'.)

Drew, feeling uncomfortable in the presence of TGs, stands up and announces to the room full of CDs, "Alright, on to the next bar, fellas. Last one out looks like a man."

Then Drew's taller CD-brother grabs Drew's beer and holds it above her head and says to Drew, "Hey, what are you worried about? You think i'm gonna hold your beer out of reach, like this?"

Drew chuckles, embarrassed, and says, "I'm not gonna jump up for my beer. You might as well just give it to me."
(The joke here is when she doesn't give it to him and then when Drew tries to jump for his beer, he can't reach it because the TG is taller than him. A negative reference to how tall some TGs can be.)

Then one of the friends says, Hey, Drew. We gotta talk. I don't like "this" Wasaw (the name of the bar).
The other guy says, "Hey, none of us do, but these guys have hey have just as much a right to be here, as we do. You know, things change?!"
Then he compares the new Ms Pac man to the old Pacman video game.

Then, a really cute GG, with a nice feminine voice, starts to talk to Drew. He's attracted at first but then he quickly becomes skeptical and asks while touching her throat, "Are you a man?" at which point, she stands up and tells him, "WHAT?! SCREW YOU!" and angrily storms away.
(That message means: You are a pervert for liking men who look like women and i don't want to be near you.)

After she storms away, Drew looks to his two friends at his table and he lowers his voice to mock a how a TG would sound, and he says to them, "Screw you! Did ya hear that? Screw your!
(Meaning, no matter how good they look, they still sound like men.)
            The audience busts out laughing.

In the next scene, three TGs (one is Drew's CD-brother) go up to the bartender and she politely asks the bartender for three beers.
The bartender puts the beers on the bar and says, "That'll be $6.00 .
The TG says, "You mean $3.00?
He says to the TG, "No way, pal. This counter's for ladies only."
The TG says in an exaggerated low voice, "I may not be a woman but i am a lady."
Drew, then smugly says to his brother, while looking around for approval, "Well, let's not fool ourselves, here. I mean, i could put on a Brown's jacket - doesn't make me a quarter-back."
            The audience laughs.

She says to Drew, "Drew. You're my brother. Back me up, here."
Drew says, "Look, and don't screw this up, okay? We're finally getting some real women in back in here."
Then Drew sarcastically says to his CD-brother, "Hey, maybe we can have 'What the hell was i dancing with' night on Thursday."
(The TG is visibly insulted but the audience still laughs and applauds the discrimination.)

The TG-brother get angry and points her finger at Drew and says, "Thanks, you backstabbing little snot."
Then she looks at another CD and says, "Come on, Mike. Let's go!" Then she corrects herself, and apologetically says, "I mean, Vicky. I'm sorry. I'm very upset."
            The audience laughs.

She talks to Drew again, and pointing her finger at him, she says, "You know what? You're a real idiot!"
Drew says, "I can't believe that you're gettin' upset because you can't get a discount on a couple of beers."
She says, it's not about that. It's about being embarrassed by my brother in my own bar."
Drew tells the bartender to transfer his running tab to his CD-brother's tab because it's HIS bar, now.

And people sit at home and laugh at this.
            Familiarity breed contempt.

            • This seems like a real interesting thread. But, I don't have the attention span to get through anything after the first 4 pages. It takes me forever to read one of your post Babe.

                ...and you're proud of that?

                Thanks, i think.
                Well, maybe one day.

If it was interesting enough, you'd take the time.

Maybe you should go back to the porn video section, i'm sure that holds your attention.
BETTER YET, go watch more television where they spoon feed you ALL kinds of wrong info.

I tell ya this though, the people who claim to have short attention spans but who still come into forums, like these, where people WRITE, is beyond me.
It's like going to the opera house when you don't like opera, and then whining about it.

                Babe,
                xoxo

Don't be upset. I just don't really have the time and the patient to sit and read through 17 pages. Maybe I'll go back and read some more who knows?

Its more like going to see a movie that you think is going to be the average length of a film Lets say 1hour and 45 min,
and it ends up being as long as Lord of The Rings where u fall asleep half way, because the script is way too long

If you weren't upset you wouldn't be insulting me now would you. All I said is that your posts are a bit lengthy.
I'm not really trying to play back and forth today so I'll just stop...

I told you, i am not upset.

You are insulting YOURSELF by posting pics of you picking your nose and then putting your finger in your mouth as if it was cute.

Also, claiming to have a short attention span is also insulting yourself.

                            • Ruby,

                              Take me, for example.
I have a large attention span. I can read books, and newspapers.
I can even write a book.

As a matter of fact, about 15 years ago, i wrote a short article for one of the bigger local newspapers and it was published.
                              xo

Well, many mature people find me sexy in that pic. Who's insulting who, now?

I wonder how many people think what you're doing in those two pics is sexy. Little children eat their snot.
