Well..i'm a fan of Sunshine and Shyla..since they are smart and articulate.
But, it's also interesting to read comments from Lisa and Alexis...at least they are honest and they have their own opinions.

no comment about religion. I'm pretty spiritual, but not at all religious

love how the simple notion of God causes such a stir when I mentioned this only because it's something personal to me that has helped me during hard times. if you don't agree with it, which btw I never had faith ever in my life even when I went to private Christian school, then it's your right to express you don't agree but not to insult.

having faith in something greater than me has sincerely helped me have more strength and confidence in myself independently and engaging with others. regardless of your view, God helps me keep a clear and positive perception on my future. No matter the outcome of today, as long as I retain that, I will have success in anything I do.

again take it as you will, but this works for me and I respect that you see it as bullshit, because I did too. but in all the things I was doing before and nothing really working out, I decided to try actually believing. And from that day, everything changed for the better. It's all in the power of positive thinking ultimately. However platform you chose to channel that is entirely up to you.

And just for clarification for those who have preached against there being a presence of God or religion on this forum, I am not talking about religion. I am not talking about scripture or the passages of right or wrong nor am I trying to speak against or ill of something because of religious belief.

I am talking about having faith. Faith is the primary focus of religion and spirituality. I am against institutional power and am very well aware of the history of religion and it's power on politics. I do not attend church, I do not live life direct from scripture. I do however try to live as genuine and good hearted as I can. Be grateful for what I have and give back what I am able to.

This is just my story and relationship with faith and a positive outlook, which I thought this thread was all about. Just funny to see how quickly it gets blown up with the mention of God. Obviously some sensitive history people must have with religion.
