Well maybe that is way there is so many requirements for HRT and then SRS. HRT is not so bad as you really just need clearance from your Psych. SRS is a little more complicated, as you need letters from 2 health care professionals that you have been under their care.

I would agree that Confused is the proper term. But I think that some of the blocks that have been put in place, are there to avoid this issue (ie letters from doctors and clearance). More dangerous then going back and forth is the next option. Suicide. This is a scary fact and one of the reasons that I stress so often that anyone that thinks about transition should go through this step first.

But most of this is just validation from others that they agree, you feel the way you do.
Suicide is generally done to hurt others or send a final message, this is why most people get caught.
I think a lot of the confusion today it is just from all the influence of others.

I know for a fact I can get any doctor to diagnose or write a paper for anything I want, if I really try.

Hermaphrodites, while being celebrated throughout history are very very rare.
Almost never do they have fully functioning genitals of both sexes.
Girls with enlarged clitoris are more common, but this isn't really any type of deformation or anything.

My worry is that parents may start getting too involved in manipulating or changing the gender of their child.
To me they have no right except possibly in the case of severe deformity.
