As much as I do try to be genuinely nice by sending PMs to build a friendship and you consistently do not respond, I still feel you deserve my advice.
I used to weigh 250 pounds and now I around 160 pounds. Section 7's advice was quite good actually. However, in my opinion it is all in your mind. I am not sure if someone mentioned that. If you go to eat and make a responsible choice as the others have mentioned then that is one part. The second is the real battle to me at least. I always keep my mind occupied and set up plans so that I cannot spiral into eating more. I also leverage water and eating low calories foods (carrots, celery, etc) if the mental attack hits me. Apples are my saviour as well. Once you have battled the mind, the body will come in time. However, this must be a lifestyle change as you know.
In my opinion, unless you have been morbidly obese your advice is not valid because you do not know what goes through the mind and body of a person who is morbidly obese. It is very easy to say move more, eat less mantra's, but in reality it is mental. However, as you see the weight come off and begin feeling better about yourself then it will all begin to flow naturally. I eat well now because it makes me feel good mentally and physically whereas I could never understand this before.
I too fell into that continous weight loss reaching around 140 pounds being now sickly underweight. It was not attractive to women nor even too myself. That as well took time, but again it is all lifestyle. Best of luck in your quest and as always you have our support.
