Well if the criminal is trying to steal from you, you have the right to grab him, if he then trys to hit, you have the right to defend yourself but I do agree you must use an equal or lesser force but how at that moment will your arms become stronger than his if he is stronger than ya? Pepper spray sure would help.

Pepper spray is ILLEGAL. The charges that will be laid on you for assault, concealed weapon, etc, will be greater then the robbery charge laid on him. In fact, he can now defend himself against you if you pull out pepper spray or a knife or a gun.

If surveliance cameras were used to the extent that they cover an ENTIRE city where every humanbeing can be tracked and located, then it would be impossible for a criminal to escape because he would be found thus this will reduce crime by a very large percentage like 99%. BUT who will surveilance those who surveilance? Maby the internet....all surveilance cameras are live on the internet and recording onto hard drives 24/7. OK gov you may use my idea but may i get a cut?

It will eventually happen come 2050 combining surveilance cameras and satellite technology, they fock up, they get caught. It wont be a police state, it will be an internet state. Anyone and everyone will be able to log in to google earth and re-track where that focker went who robbed so in so or who molested a child right to his destination at home jerking off alone in his bedroom.(it makes me wonder if women child molesters in 2050 will be treated the same as they are today where they are set free and only men get the prison time,hahaha.). There'll be no escape.

Oh by the way, by that time 2050 you wont even be able to spend stolen cash because every bill will be tracked each time a person spends it,even between individuals due to each bill having a serial number.Every bill that is cashed,spent or given will be processed like a credit card using it's serial number or else the cash will be useless.Cant fool big brother anymore or i should say big internet.

Unfortunately the US government does not comprehend separation of church and state. USA is far worse. They can make a disposbale camera cheap thus they can make a surveilance camera cheap or maby just use the zoomable type of satelites that zoom in few feet off the ground come 2050.

Surveilance cameras mounted everywhere in a public place should never be considered invasion of privacy no matter where the cameras are aiming at even if it can video record a person's backyard or through their opened curtains because once a person is outside their house or leave their curtains open where OTHERS CAN SEE while on their own property or public place INCLUDING surveilance cameras, that person is no longer entitled to privacy. They want privacy they can keep their curtains closed or have 10 foot fences although that wont stop the satelites from peeping in and that wouldnt be invasion of privacy either because those satelites are the government's property and are in view of front and backyards. They would have to build a roof in their backyard to stop that. This can be compared to a neighbor who mounted a surveilance camera on his own property that is in perfect view of the backyard next door as a hot chubby woman is in a 1 piece swimsuit revealing all the hot front and behind details. He is not invading her privacy because he or his camera is able to see her while he is on HIS OWN property and that should be his legal right just like the satelites high above........hot live porn shows!!!!!!!
