I am not an expert regarding that subject but I would like to bring my 2 cents since I find this topic interesting. There is no statistics related to the escort business including the tgirls for obvious reasons. Consequently we have to go with observations. This is a weak procedure but it is better than nothing. My personnal observations (as many of you said) are 1) there are more tgirls advertising on the appropriate sites now, 2) more tgirls are offering specials or cut the prices, 3) some tgirls are talking more and more about this situation, 4) more tgirls are travelling to find clients. Conclusion it looks like the business is declining. And there is nothing to do about that situation. Economy talk. You cannot fight against these rules:decrease of income, increase of unemployment, increase in the number of the escorts (sometime exactly because of poor economic situation). I always have been surprised about what is telling me a tgirl close to me about the business weaker at the end of the month. Can you imagine this? Personaly I know 3 difficult markets for escorts: Cuba, Argentina and Thailand. From my personal experience I can tell you that in Cuba the people are poor and you cannot imagine what they are ready to do to get a little money. There is so many GG running after you in the streets you can spend the night with a beautiful lady for 20$. In Argentina you can spend a few hours with a tgirl for 60$ (the value of the peso is weak and you can have 7 pesos and more for one american dollar on the blue market, so if the girl is asking for 400 pesos...). In Thailand you can spend a few hours with a beautiful ladyboy for 60$. So many ladyboys coming from poor families there. So every where economy talk. And believe me many cheap fellows will take advantage of the situation and pay as less as they can.

Well, on the same token we still have some very lucrative market in the world.

From what I've seen of London (I used to live there), the number of advertising escorts has remained constant for years now. My first escort was in 2002, and even then there were plenty of websites around with contacts.
