For anyone who has never been to Thailand and is planning to be on this trip you are in for a treat. The time coincides with the volleyball as mentioned and there are loads of ladyboy lovers in town and parties almost ever night on the days either side of the event. Enjoy.

This is a great time to go there.
The weather is great not too hot and not too rainy.
It is not the busiest or most expensive time of the year.
Plus there will be ladyboys in Pattaya like crazy for the volleyball and Miss Queen tournaments.
Also i have just taken over this site which is great for researching the trip:

Well everyone I am now confirmed I will be in Thailand October 24 until November 17.
The official trip is the Nov 1 - Nov 14 in Pattaya, kicking off with the Ladyboy water volleyball on Nov 1.
Anyone who still wants to come, you can meet us or come with us or whatever works.
I have a couple extra tickets for the volleyball tourney, these would be free for official trip participants but I may sell them if still available at game time. This should be a good one.
My whole purpose in trying to offer a package is to make things smooth easy and cheap for the newbies, there was never any profit in this trip for me.
So if you are on the fence you may want to check out this thread:

from some one who's there
Hi Craig been hiding in the bushes for a while but thought I'd throw my two cents in.
I am presently living in the north of Thailand in the city of Chiang Mai and have been here for just over 14 months now.
With reference to the Coup d'?tat I personally feel the country has run smoother and safer since the take over. The Army does not put up with any crap from corrupt police officials or militant political parties and keeps a very close eye on public safety in the tourist areas. One of their first priorities is to ensure that the tourists are safe and happy, the beaches are cleaner and safer now than before. They have trod heavily on the Thai Mafia who used to run all the beaches in the country, everything from renting a beach chair to food and liquor concessions. The Army walked in on the first weeks of take over and literally swept the beaches clean and have closely controlled all aspects of them going back to normal.
Bangkok can be a rough and dangerous place but by using common sense and a bit of caution you can enjoy all it has to offer just stay away from the tigers while drinking
Now bar girl prices range from 1000 Baht to 1500 Baht for ST (short time) and 1000 Baht to 3000 Baht for LT (long time-over night) depending on the girl and how much she likes you.
Ladyboy prices range from 1000 Baht ST to 10,000 Baht for LT depending on how much the girl thinks she's worth and how much she thinks you will pay but like everything in Thailand the price is negotiable. Haggling is the nations pastime. Do not worry about offending with a low ball offer, smile while your bargaining and try for a price you think is fair. The quickest way to blow a deal is to raise your voice and be demanding, you can get away with almost any ridiculous offer if you speak softly and smile and laugh a lot, actually works anywhere in the world.
Hope everything goes well for you and all have a great time.

No worries, this will be my 20th trip to Thailand and I have been through a Coup or two already.
I was there just after Central World was burned in 2010 and have been over a good chunk of the country.
I have dated two ladyboys, one from Bangkok and one from Buriram and even helped her build a house out there.
Chiang Mai is nice and I hope to get back there again, I am interested in some of the Mountain Biking tours there.
Mostly I have seen most of the tourist sites up there as you can see in this thread:
http://tgirlforums.com/yabbse/showth...g-Mai-Thailand
Bangkok can be dangerous but I have spent time is some really dangerous cities in the USA, so I tend to be wary at all times.
However I am pretty up on the scene and understand how alot of the corruption works. Anyone and everyone can be police or government agent. They are very lenient with tourists and as long as you stick to having good clean fun, they won't bother you.
I am not a big fan of authoritarian rule but at least this time they are trying to clean up the biggest problems that affect tourists.
They haven't moved into Pattaya yet apparently because the police there have cracked down on their own in an effort to maintain control. I don't mind them taking alot of the riff raff off the streets, especially in Pattaya.
It will be nice to go to the beach and not be harassed. I was nearly in a fight with some guy on Jomtien beach one time who took advantage of us on a deal. He shouldn't have been out on the beach in the first place and we never sought out his services.
I am terrible at bargaining as my GF always pointed out. I can concur that losing your temper will get you no where in Thailand, over here if we get upset we often get our way. Over there, they just ignore you. I also found out that tipping is not traditional in Thai culture. In the tourist areas and bars they expect tips but as you get to places where real common Thai's live, they don't tip. I was actually berated by some other customers at a restaurant in Bangkok for tipping. It was in an very low rent area of the city and the prices were some of the cheapest I have seen for food ever.
I am also posting alot more about my Thailand trips on my new forum here:
