So after the volley ball on November 1 there was a dinner and awards.
We attended the awards but it was not held outside as planned so people were seated inside at different locations.
We had a very nice buffet dinner.
Afterwards I headed back to King's Bar to meet up with Massy again.
Here is another really nice ladyboy from King's Bar name Rose:
The next day i was still with Massy and Maxxpower was still with his date.
So we all headed over to Jomtien beach for lunch and then sunset.
Maxxpower had never been to Walking street before so we took him out.
We started at the Pattaya Beer Garden for dinner and a tower of Tiger beer.
Then we went to the Hot Tuna Bar where a band plays Heavy Metal all night.
After that we went to a Middle Eastern bar for some Shisha smoking and pool.
Next to Blues bar to see Lam the King of guitar in Thailand and after him there was a great Reggae act.
Finally we ended off the evening at the Issan Pub on Walking street where we drank and danced to Thai Issan country music.
Well the biggest things are comfort and reducing your stress.
Also trying to get the best and shortest connections possible.
Flying Business class as much as possible is key to an easy comfortable flight.
When i first started going to Thailand I was flying the cheapest economy tickets, which most people try to do.
Then i realized by sticking with one airline like Air Canada, you can build status which gives you access to upgrades and airline lounges. Airline lounges are key so you don't have to stand in line at Tim Hortons or the like with everyone. Instead you can relax in a private lounge with most food and drinks and amenities for free. Free internet and buffets are usually included.
Once you have status on an airline you can board the plane first, upgrade to business class and access lounges free.
You can also purchase lounge access on long economy flights which is sometimes a very good idea.
YOu can also purchase premium seats in economy for a little more that has more leg room and such.
This trip I couldn't get a flight from Vancouver to Hong kong which i find the easiest route. It is 14 hours from Vancouver to Hong Kong but only 2 hours to Bangkok from Hong Kong. This trip i bought a business class ticket but it was only business class from Vancouver to Seoul, Korea. Then i had to sit in economy on the 5.5 hour flight from Seoul to Bangkok.
My business class flight on Air Canada to Seoul was good as usual. There is private pods, gourmet food and drinks plus premium movies. The pods are getting older and the video quality is a little bad compared to the latest technology. Still a very comforatable and relaxed flight. My seat goes down to a bed and I can actually get some sleep, often in economy sleeping is difficult.
