As a Correctional Officer I can assure you the ones in for weed are few...unless they're dealers therefore they belong in jail. you are happy to share that your "corporations" have paid a million in total taxes over the years. Well, the fact you can pay that means you have prospered very much in our country. You would not prosper even a fraction of that living in eastern europe, a communist country, iraq, or russia. You are benefiting greatly from the society you seem to hate so much. With the extent of US debt it is inevitable that they become slaves to multi-national corporations and banks and lending nations in determining policy, which isn't always in the best interests of the American people but necessary to keep them afloat. in fact, I don't work as a Correctional Officer any more. I quit just over 2 years ago because I couldn't stand the scum (they weren't all scum) I was paid to take care for. However, I'm fully trained and can go back if I want, but never will. I work in the oil patch now.

I also happen to be one of the honest officers who did my job and took it seriously, I didn't sit at a computer except to check my work e-mails. I took care of my body, never did drugs, never smoked pot (which was a miracle due to peer pressure) a social drinker, never smoked a cigarette in my life, I was dedicated and even at my age trained and was on the Tactical Team in full riot dress if there was a problem...of which I was and am still very proud. I was 55 years old 175 lbs soaking wet and could toss 250 to the ground pretty easily. Maybe I learned that from my 32 years in the Canadian Forces? Who knows!
