All I can say is... va va va voom!
She looks better than some girls half her age which is quite sad (for the younger set... I can only imagine how they'll look at 60).
I love that even in his early 60's she can now be who she always wanted to be. More power to her.
The video from the shoot shows the image isnt photoshopped that much and looks pretty close to how she looks in real life.

This is what I ask people who are questioning their gender identity...
Do you wanna go to Dennys, on a Tues afternoon, dressed as a woman? (putting yourself in the real world... not on coward-ly Church st... which is a bubble)
and if the answer is yes, your a tgirl, if no, then it's just Sat night fun (so to speak).

I would go anywhere dressed as anything if I was to receive the large amount of money she will generate from this.
I'm sure a Vanity Fair cover pays quite well and he would never have received it as a man. She is not even attractive, yuk.
It is sad that that whole world has to associate transitioning with some greedy celebrity, rather than someone with no ulterior motives.
I think she is making a circus of the whole thing, I don't see that it is bringing recognition to it, more like mocking it.

Everyone says she is so brave and a ground breaker, not even close.
She is no pioneer and is years late in trying to claim that she is.
There is far better examples in the community, in fact there is thousands that proceeded her.

Plus she says she can now get to know herself. Why? She has been herself for her whole life.
Past memories or facts will not change just because she transitioned.
    She is full of shit!

Be nice Crag..give her a chance to prove that she is what she says.

I personally have a little doubt myself about her, but hey... i could be wrong..
Probably because she is a public figure with kids and family, so she has to 'hold' it for so long? Who knows...

I like her statement: 'as soon as the Vanity's fair cover comes up..I am free!'

      Let's wait and see...

Btw, i think she makes a good start as a trans woman. I love the hair

I don't like the fact everyone is giving him credit for being so "ground breaking".
He is like years and years past ground breaking, it is more like old news.

What about the struggles of normal TGs that have come before?
TGs that are not rich nor stood to get rich because that is not the reason they chose to transition.
Isn't he taking credit and Kudos for the whole community unfairly?

I'd say he is an older man exploring new things, not a lifetime TS.

        Just saying.

The degree of transsexualism varies to certain degrees. There are some of us show extremely strong feeling about being born with the wrong body. For tgirls, we refuse or cry when our parents give us boys clothes. We love playing dolls and hate playing boys sport....to the extreme case, trying to kill ourselves because we feel miserable.
This type is called Type A, a classic scenario of transsexualism. Most of these girls love only men sexually, and love being a bottom

There are Type B, a neo transsexualism. These individuals mostly transition much older than Type A. Most of them like women or bi, and have experienced to live as an adult male for long. Caitlyn/Bruce definitely belongs to this type.

There are variant between type A and B, and I am the perfect example of this variant, though i would say i will be more Type A than type B.
Let us call this variant: 'An amphibian'. Those who can live happily both as male or female, depending on circumstances.
Those feminine, pretty gay boys whom we see on Church st actually belong to this variant.
They dont realize it yet, or the urge to transition is not yet strong enough for them to make this step.

it is rather complex, isn't it?

So instead of getting confused or stressed, we just need to tolerate each other and let all of us grow into a better being.

We live only once...so let us enjoy it and fuck

Yes but every TG will assess themselves in a similar but different way than you.
Which proves we are all a little different and on different grades of the gender identity scale.

I also think people should just live and let live, but that is not possible when people make such a big deal over such things.
How can anyone blend into society when everyone just makes a big deal about it and tries to force others down the exact same road as them. Especially gays coming out left and right, it drives me crazy. Sure tell your family and friends if necessary but does the whole world need to know this information? If you like to suck rope, well that is great but why do i need to know?
Maybe I do too sometimes but does that make me gay? I sure ain't identifying with that gong show.

Labels are for other people to talk about you, not to use on yourself. Everyone should just be themselves and not some mold that others have created. There is no reason everyone needs too know who I enjoy sex with, yet there is a whole culture dedicated to committing to a Gay lifestyle and coming out of the closet. What if you are gay and have some pussy before sometimes, then aren't you Bi? How many gay experiences does it take to wipe out all your straight experiences. How long to you have to be TG before it wipes out all the time you were not? Or how come it is always later in life most people do this but sayIng it is always been this way. If I was to come out and tell everyone I love ladyboy cock do i have to join the Gay Pride Float committee immediately? (There is no such thing as a tgirl lover community, you're just considered a fag, even by tgirls)

I would much rather do my thing my way and not try to fit some bar others have set.
To me i'm just a guy who likes what he likes.
I would never go out wearing a dress but I don't understand why specifically only women wear dresses really anyway.
They are very impractical for most things.

I find the whole thing is just spiralling out of control.

(Yes i said fag and i ain't taking it back)

I see your point of view.

So in your personal opinion, Caitlyn just makes this transition to make money out of it and to make her more popular on public eye?

Well, i am not a mind reader, so i cant give you the right answer.

She is already rich and popular...so why does she need more publication? I would not if i were her.
Besides, always remember Caitlyn is not an ordinary person. She is a public figure where every step of her will be "watched' by public thus she really needs to announce a big decision like this in order to 'save' her future IMO.

Therefore i like her statement saying: 'as soon as the Vanity's fair cover comes up..I am free!'

                It can be interpreted as:
'I know I am a public figure, and i have to make this announcement before making everybody and the world shock. If i do not announce it, everybody might misinterpret it and might see me as a weirdo... actually I am not.
So let me announce it once for all....i just want to be a woman. I have hold this feeling for so long. And for the first time in my life, i have finally found the right opportunity to do so.
After all these years, for the first time in my life, I can be what i always want to be.
So, after my cover photo of Vanity,s fair, can you please let me go and let me enjoy the rest of my life. Thank you!'

That is my interpretation about her last statement. I might be right or wrong though.
As i said: Time will tell. Let us see and wait

I'm not a tranny, and not a whore, but I am 60+ and I like trannys. I guess that makes me nothing but an "old bugger"!

I may ramble but my basic thought is that she is doing this as a "Bucket List" item, just because she can.
If my tax dollars have to pay for someone's bucket list because of this is a good reason to be upset, this ain't cheap.
He has the resources to just do it all at once and purports to be trying to help people.
Problem is that he is not normal people, she doesn't represent the struggle of anyone else but herself.
We all want to die a hero and martyr and leave our mark on world but to buy it isn't as noble.

Much of the community seems to be behind him for some reason, so I will just leave it as this.
I just don't understand the push to turn every baby, boy or man that has ever had feminine feelings into a TS.

Welcome to the World Caitlyn Jenner

While Caitlyn Jenner maybe a late comer/bloomer and her transition sensationalized by the media I think her transition is sincere. Having watched the Diane Sawyer full interview Bruce did try to transition much earlier in his 30's and was on HRT for nearly five years at that time but gave it up for the what he thought was in the best interests of his wife and young children at that time.
Those who are predominantly heterosexual are more likely to transition late as they do become involved in traditional male/female relationships and marriages and this often delays the decision to transition sometimes indefinitely.
Because of who Bruce Jenner was both as an Olympic star and as a member of the popular Kardashian's reality show her transition now as Caitlyn will be more sensationalized than probably any other trans woman to this point in history. But it is also thrusting transgender issues into the mainstream spotlight and give more visibility to the transgender community. Won't be all good or all bad as Caitlyn is an individual with her own unique experience, opinions and views, which won't necessarily be the same as every other transgender person.
I think she is brave as most who transition still do so under the scrutiny of a few ie immed. family, friends, co workers Caitlyn is doing so under the scrutiny of the whole world. For a 65 year old trans woman she does look stunning and comparing her with 20 or 30 something years old T-Girls is ludicrous go look at your Grandmother than comment!
                          *F*A*N*T*A*SA*

That is exactly why I think she is a fraud.
Everything else always was more important than transitioning for 62 years, EVERYTHING.
His male life took priority over being a woman always.
This is not someone with a serious gender disorder problem, it is a dabbler.
Now that it doesn't matter anymore she can do her bucket list thing and be a hero again.

BTW my Grandmas were fucking gorgeous.
