i like this Final, even though Pittsburgh is there it's still a pretty fresh new one. kinda tired of seeing the same 3 teams from the west every year. I'd be happy with either team winning, just happy it wasnt LA/Chicago/Anaheim in the final 4 of the west like always.

Crosby didnt deserve the Conn Smythe. Good player with a good playoffs, better options.

I think Sid was the architect of the win.
That was the "Most Valuable" part, not just his personal physical performance.
I think his leadership clearly stood out.

San Jose had no equivalent leadership.

dont get me wrong he was pretty valuable in the big games, but i just woulda chose Murray myself for that same reason of stepping up as a rookie and winning 14 of 16 or whatever it was, with pretty decent numbers.
