me ,my opinion it was a terrorist attack happened in gay club , probably club was easy target because it was crowded area ( so many innocent people ) I think it has nothing to do with gays

I hate when anti gays make it sound they deserve it, its human being no one deserve to die in a horrible way , USA should have to ban guns after many innocent deaths ... Guns are dangerous in any wrong hands

Gun control would solve nothing in the USA. The Boston Marathon was bombed. It's not the guns. It's the mentality of these people.

In mature Countries like Norway or Japan this stuff works. When you have an immature population they will just find another way to kill each other.

With a bunch of household materials and some ball bearings you can basically make a bomb. Once you strap those ball bearings to a person with this Bomb, the instant that it detonates it will send those ball bearings in every direction ripping through an entire area in seconds.

Here is an example of the destruction it can cause.

Could you imagine some idiot setting off ones of these in a crowded area?

Yes I saw Swordfish was a great movie and I think this kind of idea is used by many suicide bombers to maximize carnage and body count. True mentally unstable , religious extremist & terrorist motivated attackers will find someway to kill people. Many "Christian" groups try to distance themselves or differentiate themselves from Islamic terrorist groups but in the wake of the Orlando shooting massive homophobic sentiment has poured out from the religious right in the U.S. almost justifying and condoning the killing of gays.

I could be jumping the gun here ...- no pun intended. Could it be that the "Religion of Peace" has struck again? The symbolism of attacking in France on Bastille Day should not go unnoticed.

We all know the routine by now;

Step 1 - ignore Problem A
Step 2 - talk endlessly about completely different issues - Problems B, C and D
Step 3 - clamp down on any displays of nationalism or pride in your own culture
Step 4 - government promises more stringent security protocols and everyone moves on with their lives... waiting for their next opportunity to ignore a very obvious problem

I wonder what / who will be blamed in place of Islamists. Perhaps truck inspectors down at the DMV?

Should we blame the French culture?

Should we expect crowds marching in the streets of France calling for "truck-free zones" or tighter truck control?

Let's hope that people pay attention to motivations this time around.

Not surprised. Why should anyone be? And they found a Quran in his vehicle outside the home too? Well that likely has nothing to do with anything; certainly not his motivations. Again, not surprised.

France was once a "mature" country right? It seems as if it's getting more and more "immature" every month. I wonder if the state of emergency that's been extended from the Paris nightclub attacks will ever be lifted. This is now the new normal. Liking posts on Facebook and ranting #Notall on twitter will not stop the next attack.

This is the self-immolation of societies, of cultures. And nobody is supposed to talk about it. Let's not offend anyone pls.

It is going to be a rough ride over there for a long time... It sucks because I love Europe, I love to travel there, but their integration problems are ruining the place.

I saw a trump speech and he said its time for change. Sorry trump but war wont change anything,peace will. War can only create war like a never ending loop unless 1 side stops.The bible is kind of like a dangerous book,if religious groups actually follow it or have their own version with close similarities and write laws based on it then we're always going to see men controlling women in marriage,women not allowed to go to school or get a job,women covering their faces with a cloth,adultery being illegal,etc,but are usa suppose to attack all of them based on their kind of religion or should usa,as paul put it,let it be? I think all men should end their endless kinds of attacks on so many different kinds of people and beliefs and be at peace. If i were to sum up this entire thread or put it into a computer and out comes 4 words to determine what the problem is,these will be the 4 words,men are the problem. And trump,you cannot force change on a people,let their own guilty conscience change it for them.
