nobody in canada gives a flying fadoo about soccer so i really dont give a rats ass what goes on in the rest of the world,soccer isnt even a sport its a bunch of boneheads kicking a ball around a field with a bunch of drunk fans ready to kill each other over it.soccer should have been banned years ago and it will never be a top 3 sport in north america.hockey baseball football basketball nascar and golf are the most watched and loved sports in north america and last time i checked thats where i live period.as for hockey being a minor sport give your head a shake its our sport its our passion and our life.the skill level in hockey is unequilled to any major leaque sport,anyone can kick a football but try lacing up a pair of skates and stick handle a puck through 5 6 foot 2 men who are ready to knock you on your ass,better keep your head up....its not like soccer who are a bunch of candy ass losers who fall down on there own waiting for a flag to be thrown.real men play hockey its that simple.

thers a reason why soccer is the most watched and played sport in the world, cuz its a simple yet effective game which takes skill to play. and don't forget, the MLS is the fastest growing league in north america today so before you say we live in north america and should not be playing soccer, think again.

I am sure that the people of Brampton and Thunder Bay etc. have a limited
appreciation for the 'beautiful game' but if you spend time in the larger cities during a World Cup or Euro Cup you will see that the religion of Football is supported with an enthusiasm beyond the pedestrian sports of North America. I am sure that if the Maple Leaves ever win more than 3 games in a row [dream on ] their fans will take to the streets with all the gusto that the Portuguese do when Ronaldo farts.

If you look on the BBC Sports website you will find Ice Hockey listed in the "other sports' section after darts and just ahead of netball [whatever the fuck that is] which shows it's status in the Sports World. Yes this is Canada, but fortunately in the 21 st century we are no longer limited in our choice of entertainment to Log Rolling and Curling.

dude i waited for your reply all damn night finally i got tired and went to bed lol.i was only tryin to pull your chain silly,i love the fact that you guys are passionate about your sport its awesome,nothin gives me a better high then watching or playing sports ive done it since i was 4 years old and still play a sport well into my 40s wheather its playing golf a couple days a week or teaching kids how to play hockey.sports will always dominate my life and i could talk sports for hours and love every second of it,so keep up the good work and cheers

It has been an interesting series of soccer games. Hard to believe the teams of Portugal , Italy, Greece, France, and other former greats will not be represented in Sundays final.

I've personally selected Germany to be Cup winners since the competition commenced. The Spanish team are formidable opponents, but , against Germany their few 'weaknesses' will be exposed.

Whoever captures the coveted Euro Cup , all of the entrants made exceptional efforts and demonstrated unbelievable skills. They are each to be commended for the efforts exhibited.

No one is claiming racial inequality or discrimination because of race. I claim a certain set of demographics were accurate. Another poster has challenged my figures, absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Canada wide ethnic numbers was never a specific claim of mine. But, if my good friend revisits the Toronto & GtA population I'm certain he will discover my numbers are not that inaccurate.

Multicultural peoples choosing to take up residence in our Toronto specifically, have given the economic boost,
