I recently saw some pics of a tgirl who I follow who showed some before pics when she looked more like a he and I have to say it was a huge turn off for me. Reason is my lust for tgirls is because I see them as sexy women with the extra features and I don't want to even visualize them living as men before even though I am not a moron and understand they were. I wonder who else thinks like me or if other guys have no issue looking at a old pics of tgirls as men.

No issue for me. I am meeting and interacting with their current selves, not their past selves. They were always women; the body just happened to need some transitioning. Most women don't pull out their photo albums to show it to people but if they do, no worries for me. It's part of their journey to where they are today and should be celebrated and respected not viewed as some horror turn off.

Its ok to not be attracted to their pre transition body; but I don't personally understand how it can affect the current view as you are not travelling through time to be there.

I actually commend her for showing her clips of her male pics followed by how she looks like. She has been very open about her journey & Im actually more fond of her now than ever before.

I think its great that trans women share photos pre transition because it helps with acceptance. It takes quite a bit of courage because it brings negative heat in return such as being called gross or whatever that may be. There needs to be more acceptance of their entire self and lives and not this compartmentalized image where they are only accepted if they turn you on. Trans women live with shame of their bodies for much of their lives even after some transition procedures. I understand as a client of an escort that physical and sexual matters so go with what you see today. However, I think it is misguided to outright unkind to be appalled or grossed out or anything like that if someone sees their pre transition photos. Just accept it as part of the lifestyle you are in where you love transgendered women and not be so rattled by it. I think it probably ties into the fears men have of being considered gay and this puts it front and center that they are having sex with someone who looked completely male at one point in their life and thus, want blissful blindness to this.

For those of you familiar with Julie Vu, years and years ago she did videos on youtube showing herself before transition and then some progression photos along the way. She documented a lot of her journey. She took massive heat for it and a lot of nasty stuff however it was so beneficial for acceptance and over time, it allowed people to become more comfortable with it. She is only one person , however, that is a good example.

It's all part of the journey we must go through so I am not attempting to condemn anyone for these feelings. I had them too long long ago when I was first working to understand my feelings and attractions and so forth. It's good to talk it out on a forum with people.

Maybe guys on here who are also into guys or CD's may be against me on this one but I would assume guys like myself who have zero interest in a guy sexually or a cd and really view tgirls as sexy women and can not fathom the idea on how they looked before. Yes, this is an interesting discussion. I went through a bit of what marina is going through maybe a dozen years ago when I was attracted to transgender women but didn't really understand who they were, the lives they lead, the feelings and journeys they have to go through; and of course the fear of "people will think I am gay". We all have to work it through and find our own path. What moved me was dating some trans women in my personal life and also having social time on some of my escort dates to just get to know people and understand them better and not just be chasing a very defined and specific sexual experience. I eventually came to a place of viewing trans women and cis women the same and not drawing a line between them as far as my interest in who I want to meet or date; and that brought comfort to accept an entire life and feel happy when seeing pre transition photos and so forth. I found my attraction was really to the female personality and energy and the physical container that surrounds it can be varied and I am able to be at peace with that.

I do like when this forum has discussions like this that go beyond the bitchy petty angry arguments over escorts :P

Well good to see you guys are seeing my view now. Again I am not hating on any trans girls with this view. Like I said it is about turn ons and turn offs.
