Someone else said that only god can judge us..

I'm sorry but the christian version of "god" sure as fuck has no right to judge me or any of my friends..

But if a God does exist, and is omnipotent being what exactly can any one do about it? Do you thing it is fair that a 6 year old can end the life of an entire ant colony? Life is precious yet that 6 year old, played God and ended life. Somewhere along the line, we are just someone's ant farm,

As I said, I didn't read the stuff that was removed and I don't understand how the thread got here.
I just want to get back to the thread topic and, you're right - God has nothing to do with this thread.

Toban is also right in my opinion - the subject of God and religion should not be tabled on this forum until we can find a way to participate in the spirit of peace and respect. And maybe not even then.

The Easter Bunny is not a contentious issue in the world. Our furry friend has not been a major influence in many and varied cultures. He has not caused wars and distanced cultures from each other. Not surprising that you can discuss him without people feeling like you are assaulting them. Religion on the other hand is a delicate subject. The world may be changing and opinions may be changing but it is still a very sticky subject and must be discussed in the most delicate, diplomatic, and empathetic way. These conditions do not exist here on the forum.

And, as far as "You people" goes, what does that mean? I'm not even a Christian - that's not my heritage or cultural background. But even if I was a Christian, there are many ways to interpret the Bible.

Can we stop talking about religion now?

Really now. How did religion come into it. If people don't know the whole story then they shoudn't have said anything.

Back on topic:

This thread was primarily about a big fight bewteen 2 people. Some members gave their opinions on the matter and those who stated comments shouldn't have said anything as it only added fuel to the fire.

It was also about mentioning to certain individuals over questionable actions they have done on the site which others felt was not the way this place is to be.

Lastly this thread was also about how some people cant seem to stop with what they do here.

Thank you...I was seriously just trying to get people to respect each other and BOOM...

In all honesty, I am letting a lot go on this thread. People are voicing their opinions on different subjects, positive and negative. What I have enjoyed reading is some of the counters and views on different subjects that effects us all. Hate, Respect for each other, etc are wide subjects.

We have all felt like an outcast or been rejected at some point in our lives. This is why I believe some subjects have come up. Religion for example. When things go badly for us the natural reaction is hate, fear and anger which is why many of us bare scars from past experiences. But if we approach each situation not with hate, fear and anger, but with understanding, empathy and compassion the world would be a better place. I worked with people that came from Algeria that would walk through mine fields to get water. When I asked them how they did this, they would answer "We know where the mines are". In North America we take our consumer lives for granted.

We are taught love, and in teaching love we learn hate. We are taught to hate what is different, fear what is not the same.

Once again, a quote concerning hate, angry and suffering...

LOL. actually, it is entertaining...reading various opinions from different people.
Well..i'm a fan of Sunshine and Shyla..since they are smart and articulate.
But, it's also interesting to read comments from Lisa and Alexis...at least they are honest and they have their own opinions.
