There is a competition and a Sens, Oilers, Leafs and Habs fan are performing feats in an effort to see who is geatest. Finally the 4 find themselves climbing a mountain. When they reach the top, the Sens fan looks at the others and say "For the greater good of the Senators I do this." and throws himself from the mountain. The Oiler fans climbs higher and look at the other two and says "For the greater good of the Oilers I do this" and he throws himself from the mountain. The Hab and Leaf fan both approach the edge when the Hab fan cries out, "For the greater good of everyone I do this" and he throws the Leaf's fan off the cliff."

We do agree on Boston. I hate them, I hate them so much. Not only because they win with former Leafs and Leaf "coulda beens", because some of the players have this king shit attitude whenever they get interviewed. Thomas, thornton, and Horton just to name a few. Oh, and their tv announcer, what a homer.

I'll agree with KC. You know far more about the NHL than I ever will.

I remember ten or more years ago I'd watch every Leafs game or any game that was on tv plus I had season tickets to the Guelph Storm and would follow all the Junior leagues. Times have changed for me now. I watch the Leafs and that's about it. I'll try to catch some highlights from other games in the morning or youtube.

I guess my love for hockey disappearing.

Marc Bergevin agrees with me...PK Subban is signed. It's nice having 2 offensive puck moving defensemen in Markov and Subban. Kaberle will be moved to the 3rd unit and to the PP. Fucking 4 millions dollars for a bottom pairing powerplay defensemen.

As scary as it seems, the Habs do have a good core. Cole, Pacioretty, Plekanec, Gionta, Markov, Price, Subban. It's just we don't have a gamebreaker....yet.

We are solid on defense...Markov, Emelin, Subban, Diaz, Kaberle, and we have a slew of guys that fill in at number 6 depending on who we are playing.

Forward...Our top line is untouched, (Cole, Desharnais, Pacioretty), second line (Plekanec, Gionta, Bourque), third line (Prust, Galchenyuk, Gallager)...we are pretty solid considering Armstrong is a 4th liner with us.

And at Goalie....no Montreal Canadien fan would dare say another word against Price. He is the prefect starting goalie. Technically sound, Calm, doesn't over react....and he's 24. If there's anything in this city we don't usually worry about...is goaltending....see Roy, Dryden, Plante, Vezina, Hainsworth for more information.

You build a team from the Net out, ask LA and Pittsburg. Yes Crosby and Malkin are the show in Pittsburg, but Crosby was drafted in 2005 and Malkin in 2004...Fleury went 1st overall in one of the deepest drafts ever 2003.

Just to clarify, because I don't remember. But when HNIC aired this, was it nationwide or just the Toronto market? I'm thinking they wouldn't have broadcast it to Montreal if there was a ceremony going on there.

NATIONWIDE...and even then...think about this for a second. Geoffrion and Roy meant more to the game of hockey than either one of those two players ever meant to the Leafs. There is 10 Stanley Cups between those two, or 3 less than the Leafs won. Domi? Give me a break. That's like the Habs having Chris Nilan night. I don't know what's more embarrassing. Toronto giving Tie Domi a ceremony or HNIC broadcasting it nationwide. Seriously, Toronto fans are still hockey fans. Wouldn't you want to see Boom Boom's number retired?

Uhm...This isn't the playoffs dude. This is still the part of the season where points matter. I know it can be hard to remember the difference, since the Leafs haven't made the playoffs since 2004.
